Men’s Divorce featured an article covering contempt of court during a divorce, which explains what constitutes contempt and how contempt can be used to enforce court orders.

To successfully file contempt charges, you must prove that your spouse or ex had the ability to comply with an order but willfully disobeyed. This can result in both civil and criminal penalties.
