Men’s Divorce, sponsor Cordell & Cordell and sister site DadsDivorce.com have teamed up to present a series of recap videos to keep you informed on the latest news and top stories for each of the websites.
Over the past month, Cordell & Cordell had a total of seven attorneys receive awards by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters rating service of outstanding lawyers.
In Pennsylvania, Jamie Spero was named a Super Lawyer while Amy Humbert, Richard Julius, Courtney Knox, Jason Lasser and William Phelan were named Rising Stars. Lisa Kargas also received the rising star distinction in Florida.
No more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state receive the award each year.
Dad’s Divorce posted an article about a recent UK study spanning 10 years that looked into the diets of the participants over that time, which revealed that divorce causes men to eat a less healthy diet.
Men who went through divorce during the course of the study saw their daily consumption of fruit and vegetables drop by around 25 percent compared to married men or women.
The study reaffirms one of the many health risks men face after divorce.
Men’s Divorce published a new article about how crowdfunding is becoming a new option for divorce financing to help mitigate some of the expenses associated with ending a marriage.
With the cost of a litigated divorce estimated at around $15,000, some crowdfunding sites have added a divorce category where people can try to obtain donations from friends, family members and strangers.
However, crowdfunding your divorce does have its drawbacks, as you may need to reveal intimate details of marriage breakdown to gain support.
