Over the past month, Cordell & Cordell announced the opening of a new office in Boise, Idaho — it’s first in the state.

Dad’s Divorce published an article covering the sensitive topic of how to speak to your children about mass shootings in wake of the San Bernardino massacre, in which 14 people were killed.

Due to the rash of mass shootings recently, it is difficult to completely shelter even young children from these horrible events. The article gives some tips on how to deal with this topic, including asking questions, offering reassurances, going over safety procedures and looking out for signs of anxiety.

Men’s Divorce added a new Attorney Bites video featuring Pennsylvania divorce lawyer Jaime Spero about how to determine your tax filing status when you are going through a divorce.

While taxes are pretty much universally confusing, it becomes even more complicated when you are going through a divorce. There are a number of factors that you will need to consider when determining your filing status, including IRS regulations that are divorce-specific. For this reason, it is often recommended that you speak with an accountant or tax professional to help ensure you avoid any errors with your filing.
