Cordell & Cordell News

Men’s Divorce, sponsor Cordell & Cordell and sister site DadsDivorce.com have teamed up to present a series of news round-up videos at the end of each week.

In this week’s news, Cordell & Cordell Principal Partner Joe Cordell spoke on Phoenix’s Money Radio 1510 about how the uncertainty of divorce can complicate financial decisions. Critical choices must be made without much clarity during a divorce that will affect not only your future, but your children’s future as well. The full audio of the interview is available on the blog post.

Dad’s Divorce responded to a reader’s question about whether he is allowed back into the marital home after a protection order was reduced to a no-harassment order. While he may technically be allowed back into the home, it could be considered harassment if he doesn’t have a good reason. Filing a motion with the court requesting access to gather property or to resume living in the home would be the safer option.

Men’s Divorce published a new interview to the Profiles section from John, a New Mexico father in the final stages of divorce after 16 years of marriage. Read more to find out how he reached a very favorable settlement that includes equal physical custody of his two teenage boys and no alimony obligation.
