Divorce 101 Receives Major Overhaul

Divorce 101

We are happy to announce the recent redesign of our Divorce 101 segment of the site as a part of our continuing effort to bring new and useful resources to help guys going through divorce.

Divorce 101 now includes a brand new layout and additional features that improve usability and make it easier than ever to find relevant information on the various stages of divorce.

When we initially overhauled Men’s Divorce last year, Divorce 101 was simply created as an archive for the most popular articles on the topics of Before Divorce, During Divorce, After Divorce, Children & Custody and Additional Popular Articles.

However, we quickly realized that this section of the website received a lot of traffic and was likely not fulfilling our readers’ expectations. Our efforts to provide relevant and easily-accessible information led us to come up with a new design and new features to better disseminate the important info guys need to know during this difficult time in their lives.

While we kept the breakdown of divorce stages intact, each section has been expanded to include more information and new features, including customized video guides, expanded essential topics with improved article archives and a quick quiz to test your knowledge on the related topics.

With more than 30 new videos, each section includes six brief informational clips by Cordell & Cordell Partners and attorneys crafted specifically to cover one of the important topics for that section. These videos provide general information from experienced family law attorneys, and the tips they provide can help you better understand what lies ahead or how to prepare for various situations.

Each page also includes easy access to the primary subject matter, or “Essential Topics,” with tabs for five different categories that are critical for that stage of divorce. The tabs contain a brief description of why these areas are fundamental, as well as a link to an article archive for more information.

Finally, we added an “Are You Ready?” quiz for each primary segment. While the questions are not designed to be extremely difficult, they help to reinforce the issues and challenges that commonly arise during divorce and provide links to help you better understand the various topics if you would like to know more. These quizzes will be updated with new questions down the line.

Our hope with the new and improved Divorce 101 is to provide an even more useful resource on the site to help guys going through divorce. While the information provided is general in nature since every divorce is unique, hopefully it provides a place to start for men searching for help during this difficult and complicated time in their lives.
