Each month, Cordell & Cordell releases a new podcast that includes a variety of interviews with attorneys, authors, politicians and other divorce professionals on issues guys face during divorce.
In the most recent edition, we discuss the evolving field of fatherhood research, and how our understanding of the role fathers play in the lives of their children has changed.
It has only been in past decade or so that researchers have begun studying how fathers help their children develop, as previous studies primarily focused on the bonds between mothers and children.
This has led to many misconceptions about the significance fathers have when it comes to raising children, though hopefully the new focus on fatherhood research will help bring some equity to outdated divorce laws and practices.
