In this week’s news, Cordell & Cordell highlighted a new flat-fee billing option for the Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada markets. The new payment option offers set rates for basic family law service in the areas of divorce, custody and child support modification, paternity actions and protective orders.

Dad’s Divorce, a service of Cordell & Cordell P.C., answered a readers question about whether they have the right to change the locks on their home after their spouse had moved out for 90 days and did not appear to have any intention of returning. Since you would be entitled to change the locks on your home at any time before your spouse moves out, you still have that ability. However, you want to be careful as you may not have the right to bar access to your home from your spouse.

Every minor detail, from whoever made the kids breakfast throughout the week, to which parent took them to the last doctors appointment or soccer practice can have a bearing on the outcome of your case.
