CCN Monthly Video Recap — February 2016

February 2016

Men’s Divorce, sponsor Cordell & Cordell and sister site DadsDivorce.com have teamed up to present a series of recap videos to keep you informed on the latest news and top stories for each of the websites.

Over the past month, Cordell & Cordell announced two free Men’s Divorce School seminars in California, which will cover a variety of divorce topics.

The first will be held Wednesday, Feb., 10 at the Westin San Francisco Airport while the second will be held in San Diego Thursday, Feb., 11 at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay.

Both seminars will last from 6:30-8:30 p.m. PST, and there is still time to register at mensdivorceschool.com.

Dad’s Divorce published an article critical of a recent Arizona social campaign to get parents who are behind in child support payments to pay up.

The campaign posts the names and photos on social media of parents who owe more than $5,000 in child support, have a warrant for their arrest, have missed payments for at least six months and whose location is unknown, along with the #deadbeat.

This unfairly stigmatizes those who fall behind on payments and ignores research that has found many of these parents are simply too poor to pay.

Men’s Divorce started a new recurring column, the 2016 Divorce Survival Guide, that will continue throughout the year and cover a variety of topics facing guys during divorce.

The first edition of the Divorce Survival Guide explains the importance of preliminary research and preparation before you file, since laws will vary by state and the important issues that arise in divorce depend on the unique circumstances of each marriage.

Keep an eye out for new articles in the series throughout 2016 covering many different divorce situations.
